Our School

It's All Thurgood

Thurgood Marshall Middle School works to prepare our students for high school and beyond. Our teachers collaborate to plan and implement instruction that is best for all students in their classrooms. Beyond instruction, we work to develop students socially and emotionally through activities, athletics, and social emotional learning.

At Marshall, we are the Mariners. A mariner is a person who navigates or assists with navigating a ship. To be a true mariner you must get on board, and if you are not steering the ship, you should help keep the ship moving in the right direction. We are inviting you to be a true Marshall Mariner by getting on board with the vision of unlocking potential and by helping us keep our school moving in the right direction!

Our Mission

To unlock students' potential by working together to create an atmosphere of academic excellence and a culture of belonging and growth.

Our Vision

To prepare ALL students to be socially and emotionally ready and academically prepared to thrive and attain their future goals.
