Students

Tops

• Shoulders, midriffs/mid-section, and undergarments must be completely covered. Bare skin should not be visible between the shoulders and knees (not including arms). If a mid-section is shown, the student must put on a shirt provided by the school. They cannot just zip up a hoodie. These tend to just get unzipped as soon as the adult leaves.
• Students may wear hoodies, but hoods cannot be worn inside.

Bottoms

• Shorts, skirts, and dresses must be fingertip length. If a skirt, shorts, or dress rises above fingertip length, it should not be worn. If a student must adjust the length of the skirt once a teacher asks them to measure their fingertips, they will be required to change.
• Tight, spandex-type pants and shorts (yoga pants, leggings, biker shorts, etc.) are not allowed unless worn under something that reaches fingertip length such as a skirt or dress. (Students in dance or PE may change into these items for their Career Arts class and then change back for their academic classes.)
• No ripped or torn pants/jeans. Repaired jeans (jeans with attached fabric built in) are okay. No jeans with leggings underneath.
• No sagging pants or visible undergarments.

Shoes

• Open-toed sandals with a back strap are fine to wear.
• Students cannot wear slides (Nike Slides, bubble slides, Yeezy Slides, etc.).
• Crocs may be worn in sport-mode only.

Miscellaneous

• No earbuds/headphones unless approved by the teacher in a classroom setting only.
• Earbuds/headphones should not be used in hallways, cafeterias, or during recess.
• No sunglasses.
• No pajamas or blankets.
• Head coverings are allowed for religious purposes only. Absolutely no bandanas, scarves, sweatbands, caps, hats, du-rags, or bonnets/hairnets of any kind.
• Any clothing with images that create a hostile or intimidating environment or depict any illegal activity is unacceptable.

*Students are able to earn live school points daily for being in dress code. Live school points can be used to purchase items from the live school store which takes place every third Friday of the month.
